HP Pavilion Entertainment PCs contain a variety of programs for viewing movies, listening to music CDs and creating DVDs. The computers also come with a built-in Bluetooth component that lets you connect wirelessly to headphones, cellular telephones, speakers and other Bluetooth devices. Bluetooth works like a wireless Internet adapter. You can turn the Bluetooth component on to communicate with the devices or turn it off when you don’t want your HP Pavilion Entertainment PC to connect to Bluetooth devices.
HP's are infamous for bad wireless cards. Just google HP wireless card failure and you will see hundreds of posts on this problem.
Step 1

Click Start and enter “HP Wireless Assistant” in the “Start Search” box. Click the “HP Wireless Assistant” search result to launch your computer’s [Bluetooth](https://itstillworks.com/13579495/what-is-bluetooth) utility.
Step 2
Click the “Turn On” button next to “Bluetooth” within the HP Wireless Assistant dialog box. A blue light tower icon will appear in your HP Pavilion Entertainment PC’s System Tray indicating that the Bluetooth component is powered on.
Click the red “X” on the “HP Wireless Assistant” dialog box to close the utility.
Tip
- Your HP Pavilion Entertainment PC will automatically detect Bluetooth devices once you turn on your computer’s Bluetooth component. Make sure you power on any Bluetooth devices so your computer can detect them.

HP laptop computers and subsidiary Compaq's line of notebook computers are equipped with a built-in navigation device known as a touchpad, which is also commonly referred to as a mousepad. The device lets you move the cursor around the screen by pressing and sliding a fingertip on the pad area. The feature can be used in place of a traditional, external mouse. A button on the side of the pad lets you turn on or shut off the feature quickly. You can also activate the pad through the laptop's Control Panel.
